Christy never thought of herself as a normal girl, even though she had normal interests, a normal appearance, and lived with a normal family. What was completely different about her was that she could see colors whenever she read or heard sounds. For example, when she heard a bell, she saw silver, and when a dog barked, she saw red. This was because Christy had synesthesia, which meant her senses were completely mixed up. Christy believed that her synesthesia was something that made her completely different than anyone else she knew. While normal people saw colors, heard sounds, or tasted flavors, synesthetes like Christy experienced something so much more. Christy’s world was filled with a brightness that came from all directions. But it didn’t stop at seeing colors whenever she heard sounds. She also heard sounds when she saw certain shapes, saw light coming from people who walked by, felt music like it was a beating heart, and saw temperatures. It had always been like this. She

Roger woke up in the school nurse’s office. Noah was sitting in a waiting chair a short distance away from him, with his head hung low in shame. As Roger’s eyes adjusted to the bright and florescent light, the images of a few worried faces came into focus. Roger’s mothers looked him over speculatively, trying to see all of the damage. A question was sent from Noah's mother: "So, another kid did this?" she asked. The sound came as if through a distorted filter as consciousness flooded back into Roger. The group looked down to him. "Roger! Baby, are you alright?" his mother leaned down to him, kissing him softly on the forehead. "Did someone do this to you?" Noah's mother filled in, "did someone hurt you?" Not replying immediately, Roger looked at Noah, who obviously hadn’t said much about the incident. It was 'policy' for the two friends to keep the scuffles to themselves. There was a time when they brought the bullying up to the faculty and it managed to intensify the situation

Hi Everyone, Here is the first part of the latest and last one shot for Code Geass: Liar's Dice as me and Makarov move onto starting the main series itself. Which rounds off the final prequel chapters on Akira and Nathan that grew from a simple one shot of showing the two's day and night out in summer of 94, to a novella that in many ways sets up their arc and gives hints of their background, relationship and more that has been a real joy to set up and work with @RingoPerkov, @ResonantCrimson and Makarov in writing about them, along with the one shot that was Melancholy Dynasty.
